Ningxia Jinyuyuan Chemical Group Co., Ltd. was originally founded as Ningxia Qingtongxia Resin Factory in January 1991. It is located in Qiangtongxia Town of Qingtongxia City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. In October of 2000 it completed the transformation of stock system, and was renamed as Qingtongxia Resin Factory Co., Ltd. In December of 2003, taking Qingtongxia Resin Factory Co., Ltd. as the parent company, the enterprise group - Ningxia Jiyuyuan Chemical Group was established. At the same time, the parent company was renamed as Ningxia Jinyuyuan Chemical Group Co., Ltd.

The company has four productive factories relating to resin, calcium carbide, cement and thermoelectricity. It occupies an area of 100 hectares, with total assets of RMB 1 billion, and 2100 employees. Its sales income reaches RMB 800 million, and its profit payments and tax turnover exceed RMB 150 million. The annual outputs of its main products are: sodium hydroxide 160,000t, PVC resin 200,000t, calcium carbide 200,000t, hydrochloric acid 40,000t, liquid chlorine 5,000t, dissolved acetylene 30,000 bottles, cement 400,000t, and annual power generation 1,500,000,000 kw/h. "Qinghua brand" resin has been assessed as Qualified Product by State Bureau of Technical Supervision for successively 6 years, and are sold quite well in over 20 provinces in China. "Qinghua brand" was awarded as "Famous and Excellent Brand of Autonomous Region". In October, 2002, It got ISO9001:2000 Standard Quality Control System Certification.

Through operating under market principles, promoting "Four-Complete Management System", taking capital as the link, and taking market as orientation, the enterprise has integrated its resources, optimized its product structure, and formed a cyclic industrial chain led by chlor-alkali chemical and basing on environmental protection management. Now the industrial competitive force of the enterprise has been greatly enhanced, and the annual outputs of main products in 2006 are purposed to be: sodium hydroxide 180,000t, PVC resin 220,000t, installed capability of thermoelectricity generators 150,000kw, calcium carbide 260,000t, hydrochloric acid 40,000t. The sales income will be RMB 1.5 billion, and the profit payments and tax turnover will be RMB 300 million. For the increasingly enlarging scale and increasing economic benefit, the enterprise will develop into one of the big chlor-alkali chemical bases in Western China, and one of the top 100 petrochemical enterprises in China. Since 2000, the enterprise has been awarded the title of "Advanced Enterprise" for 5 times. It has become the predominant and core enterprise in the autonomous region.
